About this event

*Registration is closed. Next class is April 19*

Our bodies are the container for our experience of grief. They do their best to support us and need support from us at every turn.

Yoga can be a wonderful tool to discharge energy, soothe our anxious minds and bodies, reconnect us with our innate physiological resources, connect with other humans, and expand our capacity for what we can bear both physically and emotionally.

This monthly class is slow-paced, trauma-informed, and includes full-body movement. It is held on the lovely outside deck at the Indigo Dragon wellness center in Encinitas. Wear warm layers for the winter months.

The intention of the practice is not to fix, but to create space and awareness for grief to move in and to move out. To find the pockets of love hiding behind the hurt. To nurture a harmonious sense of being full of life and full of loss. To increase our capacity to hold the full experience of being human.

Led by Monique Minahan, registered yoga teacher and author of The Grief Practice.

Sliding scale pricing available if needed, just send an email to thegriefpractice@gmail.com

*This class is not psychotherapeutic in nature or a replacement for mental health care.
