About this event

Fridays 11:30-1 pm PST

Oct 13, 20, 27, Nov 3

Limited to 8 participants

A body-based workshop for being human that is rooted in polyvagal principles and structures as well as neurobiological understandings and practices.

Deepening our understanding of how we are wired as humans goes a long way to supporting the healing that is already happening in each of us right now.

In this course we will investigate the healing pathways we innately possess as human beings with human bodies. These biological, physiological, behavioral, and apperceptive pathways are present both in the background and the foreground of our experience.

How our outsides and insides relate is a foundational piece to supporting the healing that is already happening and being able to meet the challenges of being human.

Our four sessions will explore:

  • Week 1 - Foundations | The physiology of perception, communal and embodied containers
  • Week 2 - Healing from the Outside-In | Exteroception, the biology of behavior, self-relational touch
  • Week 3 - Healing from the Inside-Out | Interoception, social engagement systems, facing ourselves
  • Week 4 - The Meaning Channel | Apperceptive skills and converging science, soma, and soul

The content of these sessions are built onto a foundation of nervous-system regulation, allowing us to learn together and listen to our individual and collective intelligence.

At the end of this course you will have a new understanding of healing grounded in both science and soul, as well as a clear pathway to supporting your own healing and self-regulation.

Too often we think healing is far away. Our societal and family systems don’t educate us on how healing is built into the hurting.

This kind of experiential education is essential to healing and enjoying life as a whole human being. I look forward to exploring it more with you.
